Architect, Firm Principal

Natasha brings over 30 years of architectural expertise to every project, guiding technically complex, time-sensitive renovations with the precision and care that comes from deep experience. As past president of the AIA Newark & Suburban chapter, she has cultivated a trusted network of allied professionals, giving clients access to a truly comprehensive team.

Her love of architecture took root at SCAD, where she immersed herself in historic preservation and the living fabric of Savannah’s streets. That same curiosity has followed her to New York and New Jersey, where she finds inspiration around every corner, from the soaring arches of the Oculus to the cast-iron facades of SoHo. “It is a pure joy to wander areas where our projects are happening and see the pulse of the environment.”

Founding Natasha L. Suzansky Architect LLC was the natural expression of that passion, a firm built on the belief that thoughtful design can transform any space, no matter the constraints.

Jessica

Lead Designer

Jessica specializes in both interior and lighting design, with NCIDQ credentials and WELL certification. She is an expert in CAD and BIM, which brings a rare combination of creative instinct and technical precision to her projects and allows ideas to translate seamlessly from concept to construction.

At the heart of her work is a genuine belief that well-designed spaces improve people’s lives. Whether she’s designing a corporate workplace or a specialized commercial environment, Jessica approaches every project with curiosity, care, and a commitment to getting the details right.

She also serves as an Adjunct Instructor in Interior Design, mentoring the next generation of designers and bringing the energy of the classroom back into her practice.

Banafsheh

Technical Designer

With a Bachelor’s in Interior Design and a Master’s in Architecture, Banafsheh brings over 15 years of experience to some of the most demanding commercial environments, financial services, law firms, technology, pharmaceutical, and retail among them. She has a gift for guiding projects from the earliest conversations about vision and feasibility all the way through construction, keeping clarity and client goals at the center throughout.

Banafsheh is deeply committed to the profession beyond her own practice. She has served on the boards of CREW NJ, IIDA, CoreNet NJ, NAIOP NJ, and AIA Newark & Suburban, and has been involved with the USGBC and ACE Mentoring, organizations that connect, advance, and develop the next wave of design talent. She also teaches as an adjunct instructor, bridging practice and academia with the same generosity she brings to her client work.

May

Interior Designer

May is an NCIDQ certified interior designer with 18 years of experience in Tenant Improvement projects across healthcare, corporate, and retail environments. Several of which have been recognized in industry publications. As a skilled project manager, she brings calm, organized leadership to every phase of a project, from the first concept conversation to construction closeout.

May’s favorite part of the process? Space planning. She has a particular talent for finding the layout that just works, efficient, intuitive, and true to what the client and their team actually need day to day. She believes the strongest projects are built on honest relationships and clear communication, and she brings that philosophy to every collaboration.
